1. Acceptance
By using Kobi you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You must be 18 or older to create a parent account.
2. Age Requirements
Child users must be aged 5–12. Parent accounts must be created by a person 18 or older who holds parental responsibility for the child.
3. No Voice Features
Kobi is a text and touch only application. It does not use a microphone, does not record audio of any kind, and does not use text-to-speech. Do not attempt to circumvent these restrictions.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
Kobi offers Free, Pro ($25/month), and Premium ($40/month) plans, available on monthly or yearly billing via Stripe. Yearly plans are billed as a single annual payment and are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time from your parent billing page — your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. Monthly subscribers receive a 14-day money-back guarantee.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: misuse the AI to generate inappropriate content, attempt to circumvent content safety filters, share your account with others outside your family, reverse-engineer the application, or use Kobi for any commercial purpose without written permission from Kobi Learning Pty Ltd.
6. AI Limitations
Kobi's AI responses are generated by Google Gemini and may occasionally be inaccurate. Kobi is a learning support tool and is not a replacement for qualified teachers, tutors, or mental health professionals. Always verify important information with a qualified professional.
7. Wellbeing Disclaimer
Kobi's wellbeing features provide general emotional support only. They are not a substitute for professional mental health care or crisis intervention. In any crisis situation, please contact emergency services or a mental health helpline in your country.
8. Intellectual Property
All Kobi content, branding, curriculum materials, AI prompts, and software are the intellectual property of Kobi Learning Pty Ltd. You may not reproduce or distribute Kobi content without our written permission.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the parent settings page.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Kobi Learning is incorporated. Any disputes will be resolved under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
